Conclusions:A need for further, larger studies is indicated by this evidence, to precisely define the role of homeopathy in treating dengue fever. This study also emphasises the importance of individualised treatment during an epidemic for favourable results with homeopathy. Assessing the magnitude of reporting bias in trials of homeopathy: a cross-sectional study and meta-analysis
Conclusions Registration of published trials was infrequent, many registered trials were not published and primary outcomes were often altered or changed. This likely affects the validity of the body of evidence of homeopathic literature and may overestimate the true treatment effect of homeopathic remedies.

The importance of case histories for accepting and improving homeopathy.
CONCLUSION: For acceptance and improvement of homeopathy cases should be reproducible. 'Normal' cases reflecting daily practice contribute more to this goal than extraordinary cases. Accuracy can be increased by larger samples of comparable cases. Causal relationship between medicine and improvement should be further explored. PMID: 24280462 [PubMed - in process]

Homeopathy and integrative medicine: keeping an open mind
Abstract Some physicians have incorporated some forms of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) or related medicinal products in their clinical practices, suggesting that an unconventional treatment approach might be seen as an integration rather than as an alternative to standard medical practice. Among the various CAMs, homeopathy enjoys growing popularity with the lay population, but it is not acknowledged by academia or included in medical guidelines. The major problem is to establish the effectiveness of this clinical approach using the strict criteria of evidence-based medicine. This issue of the Journ...

Risk in homeopathy: Classification of adverse events and homeopathic aggravations - A cross sectional study among Norwegian homeopath patients.
CONCLUSION: Patients reported a substantial part of the short-term reactions after taking homeopathic remedy as a worsening of symptoms. These reactions were classified as mild and moderate. Hence, the risk connected to homeopathic treatment is minor. More studies are needed to confirm the existence of homeopathic aggravation and how to classify the concept in a clinically meaningful way. PMID: 26275646 [PubMed - in process]

Utilization and perceived benefits of homeopathy and herbal therapies in U.S. adults: Implications of patient-centered care.
Abstract We evaluated reasons for and perceived benefits of using homeopathic and herbal therapies in U.S. adults. Data were collected from the 2012 National Health Interview Survey, which represents non-institutionalized U.S. adults (n = 33,167 unweighted). In the past 12 months, 18.6% (41.95 million) of U.S. adults reported using either homeopathy and/or herbal therapies. Among these users, 34.8% and 5.1% used them for wellness only and treatment only, respectively. 60.1% reported using homeopathic and herbal therapies for a combination of both treatment and wellness. In four out of seven self-reported perceiv...
