Auricular acupuncture for persistent insomnia and anxiety associated with COVID-19: a case report
We report a case of a female patient who was diagnosed with persistent insomnia and anxiety associated with COVID-19, which was successfully treated with nine treatment sessions of auricular acupuncture. This case report provides preliminary evidence to support further research into auricular acupuncture as a potential therapy for persistent insomnia and anxiety associated with COVID-19.

Molecularly imprinted miniature electrochemical biosensor for SARS-CoV-2 spike protein based on Au nanoparticles and reduced graphene oxide modified acupuncture needle
Bioelectrochemistry. 2023 Jan 27;151:108375. doi: 10.1016/j.bioelechem.2023.108375. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTAccurate detection of SARS-CoV-2 spike (SARS-CoV-2-S) protein is of clinical significance for early diagnosis and timely treatment of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Herein, a surface molecularly imprinted miniature biosensor was fabricated. Au nanoparticles (AuNPs), reduced graphene oxide (rGO), poly(methylene blue)/poly(ionic liquids) and poly(ionic liquids) were successively electrodeposited onto the pinpoint of an acupuncture needle (AN). The molecularly imprinted miniature bio...

Bioinformatics/network topology analysis of acupuncture in the treatment of COVID-19: response to methodological issues
Brief Bioinform. 2022 Mar 1:bbac060. doi: 10.1093/bib/bbac060. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTCoronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a global pandemic and there is an urgent need to discover the therapy for COVID-19. In our original article, we first obtained the target proteins of acupuncture and related target genes of COVID-19 by searching English and Chinese databases, then Gene Ontology biological processes and enrichment analysis were performed on the overlapping targets of acupuncture with COVID-19. Moreover, the compound-target and compound-disease-target network was constructed. This is an innovative attempt to pre...
