GT Medical completes acquisition of Isoray Medical cesium-131 assets
GT Medical Technologies has completed the acquisition of Perspective Therapeutics subsidiary Isoray Medical's cesium-131 assets. The purchase makes GT Medical the sole manufacturer of cesium-131 brachytherapy seeds for cancer treatments, and is part of its plan to expand adoption of its GammaTile therapy in the U.S., it said. FDA clears Merit's surgical guidance system
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared disposable products developer Merit Medical Systems' Scout MD surgical guidance system for breast cancer treatment.
