Unusual Initial Presentation of Hepatocellular Carcinoma as a Clavicular Head Mass
CONCLUSIONS: This case demonstrates a very unusual HCC presentation, the importance of a thorough workup of bone metastasis, and the limited value of AFP for HCC screening, even in disseminated disease.PMID:37616520 | DOI:10.46883/2023.25921003

A grounded theory study exploring palliative care healthcare professionals' experiences of managing digital legacy as part of advance care planning for people receiving palliative care
CONCLUSIONS: The emerging theory 'understanding the impact of digital legacy' offers insight into the knowledge and experiences of healthcare professionals working in a palliative care setting. Dry mouth in patients with a life-limiting condition or frailty: a study protocol for two intervention studies and a nested qualitative sub-study (the Dry mOuth Project, DROP)
This study investigates the effectiveness and feasibility of two interventions for dry mouth symptoms in patients with life-limiting conditions or frailty. Due to the large-scale and mixed-method nature of the study, this study will also improve our understanding of dry mouth and its relating factors and of the patients' and healthcare professionals' experiences with symptoms, care and guidelines of dry mouth, including any perceived barriers and facilitators.TRIAL REGISTRATION: NCT05964959 & NCT05506137.PMID:37612654 | DOI:10.1186/s12904-023-01242-0

Social determinants of advanced chronic respiratory interventions: a scoping review
CONCLUSION: Reporting of SDH is limited. Consequently, impacts of these social barriers on engagement in clinical trials or whether the complex interventions are effective universally or within certain sub-populations is unclear.PMID:37611947 | DOI:10.1183/16000617.0068-2023
