Negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the musculoskeletal system and depression in healthcare professionals
CONCLUSIONS: While MSS pain is concentrated on the waist, neck and back regions in all healthcare workers. We concluded that the uncertainty associated with the pandemic, delay in preventive measures such as vaccination and medication, rapid and strong transmission of the disease and increasing number of deaths have led to an increase in stress, depression and burnout among healthcare workers.PMID:37458009 | DOI:10.3233/BMR-220229

Safety and adverse effects of the coronavirus disease 2019 vaccine among the general Japanese adult population
CONCLUSIONS: Some adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccination are a greater risk of symptoms in the younger group, women, and participants with lower BMI. Prevalence of phalangeal bone marrow edema on MRI before and during the COVID-19 pandemic and correlation with chilblain skin lesions
ConclusionThis study demonstrated a significant increase in the prevalence of bone marrow edema of the phalanges after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in middle-aged and younger women.

Heavy bleeding and other menstrual disturbances in young women after COVID-19 vaccination
CONCLUSION: Menstrual disturbances were common regardless of vaccination. We found increased risk of menstrual disturbances after vaccination, particularly for heavier bleeding than usual, prolonged bleeding, shorter interval between menstruations, and stronger period pain. Vaccination against coronavirus disease 2019 in patients with pulmonary hypertension: a national prospective cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: COVID-19 vaccination did not significantly augment the PH-related major adverse events for patients with WHO groups 1 and 4 PH, although there were some tolerable side effects. A large-scale randomized controlled trial is warranted to confirm this finding.
