Phosphorus doped molybdenum disulfide regulated by sodium chloride for advanced supercapacitor electrode
Dalton Trans., 2023, Accepted Manuscript DOI: 10.1039/D3DT02184J, PaperYunan Li, Jiayin Meng, Xiaotian Wang, Meng Song, Mingli Jiao, Qi Qin, Liwei Mi As pseudocapacitor electrode material, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) usually reveals inferior capacity, rate capability and cyclability. Structural regulation and heteroatoms doping are the available methods to ameliorate the electrochemical properties of... The content of this RSS Feed (c) The Royal Society of Chemistry

Partial and Complete Replacement of the Phenyl Group(s)  of 1,1,3,3-Tetraphenyl-2,2,4,4-tetrakis(trimethylsilyl)cyclotetrasilane by Chlorine Atom(s)
Chemistry. 2023 Sep 18:e202302479. doi: 10.1002/chem.202302479. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTThe four phenyl groups of 1,1,3,3-tetraphenyl-2,2,4,4-tetrakis(trimethylsilyl)cyclotetrasilane were partially replaced by chlorine atom(s) by successive treatment with trifluoromethanesulfonic acid and lithium chloride. The replacement of all phenyl groups was carried out with hydrogen chloride in the presence of aluminum chloride. The structural features of the resulting mono-, di-, and tetrachlorocyclotetrasilanes were compared by X-ray crystallography.PMID:37720978 | DOI:10.1002/chem.202302479

Removing DOM from chloride modified hydrochar could improve Cu < sup > 2+ < /sup > adsorption capacity from aqueous solution
This study found that the content and composition of hydrochar-based DOM could be a major driving factor for Cu2+ adsorption.PMID:37722538 | DOI:10.1016/j.chemosphere.2023.140202

Ratiometrically electrochemical and colorimetric dual-mode detection of glyphosate based on 2D Cu-TCPP(Fe) NSs
Talanta. 2023 Sep 13;267:125207. doi: 10.1016/j.talanta.2023.125207. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTIn this work, a dual-signal output sensor was developed for the ratiometrically electrochemical and colorimetric detection of glyphosate (GLYP) based on the duplex nature of 2D Cu-TCPP(Fe) nanosheets (2D Cu-TCPP(Fe) NSs). Cu active center sites in 2D Cu-TCPP(Fe) NSs could transform into CuCl for signal amplification in the presence of chloride ions (Cl-), which dropped dramatically upon GLPY addition due to the strong interaction between GLYP and cuprous ion triggering the competitive reaction with the conversion of CuCl into...

Heavy metals high-sensitive detection by laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy based on radial electroosmotic flow-driven enrichment
Talanta. 2023 Sep 14;267:125199. doi: 10.1016/j.talanta.2023.125199. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTHeavy metal detection is imperative for human health and environmental sustainability. However, the commonly used liquid sample pretreatment, drying liquid droplet to solid, encounters solute diffusion and nonuniform distribution, thus causing unpromising detection results. Here, we developed a radial electroosmotic flow-driven (REOF) platform to enrich heavy metals in water for high-sensitive detection using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). Firstly, the electrodes in the substate for REOF were designed and produc...
