Optimization of a cellular HBV infection model for use in high-throughput drug screening
In this study, we optimized an in vitro HBV infection model consisting of two cell lines: HepAD38 cells, which are able to produce infectious HBV; and HepG2-NTCP cells, which are susceptible to HBV infection. We showed that prolonged production of HBV in the "donor" cells and HBV inoculation of the "acceptor" cells simultaneously with seeding improves the established procedure. This modified protocol was proven effective in experiments involving compounds with known activity against HBV, suggesting its utility for future high-throughput screening. Birth and death notification via mobile devices: a mixed methods systematic review
CONCLUSIONS: We need more, well-designed studies of the effect of birth and death notification via mobile devices and on factors that may influence its implementation.PMID:34271590 | DOI:10.1002/14651858.CD012909.pub2

The Possible Protective Effect of Hepatitis B Vaccine Against Lymphomas: A Systematic Review
CONCLUSION: Although the literature is still largely lacking regarding the protective effect of anti-HBV vaccination on lymphoma subtypes, the association between HBV infection and lymphoma has been confirmed in several studies. Vaccination programs eliminate the risk of HBV infection and prevent liver disease but can also indirectly reduce the risk of lymphomas.PMID:35049430 | DOI:10.2174/1389201023666220113111946

PreHevbrio: A New 3-Antigen Hepatitis B Vaccine for Adults
CONCLUSIONS: The 3A-HepB represents another vaccine to prevent hepatitis B in adults. It is safe and immunogenic but is associated with more adverse reactions than 1A-HepB.PMID:35906803 | DOI:10.1177/10600280221114469
