Correlation between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D level and coronary heart disease
CONCLUSION: A decrease of serum 25(OH)D level and increase in IL-6 level in patients with CHD are associated with the severity of CHD. This may provide a reference for clinical diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.PMID:34377331 | PMC:PMC8340205

Low-dose thrombolysis for submassive pulmonary embolism
This study aimed to evaluate the role of half-dose tissue-type plasminogen activator (rt-PA) in preventing death/hemodynamic decompensation in submassive (intermediate-risk) PE without increasing the risk of bleeding. In a prospective, non-randomized, open-label, single-center trial, we compared 50 mg rt-PA plus low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) with LMWH in submassive (intermediate-risk) PE. Eligible cases had confirmed pulmonary hypertension on echocardiography, and/or right ventricular cavity expansion and/or interventricular septal deviation on echocardiography, and/or right to left ventricular ratio equal to or grea...

Meta-Analysis of Prognostic Correlation of Thrombectomy for Cerebral Infarction Based on Intelligent Medical Treatment
Biomed Res Int. 2022 Sep 23;2022:4537195. doi: 10.1155/2022/4537195. eCollection 2022.ABSTRACTA meta-analysis is used to investigate the correlation between the status of collateral circulation assessed by head CT angiography (CTA) and the outcome of thrombectomy for cerebral infarction. Meta-analysis is conducted. The experimental results show that the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score, modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score, incidence of cerebral hemorrhage, and mortality in the group with good collateral circulation are significantly lower than those in the group with bad collateral circulation, and th...

A Case of Intracranial Vertebral Artery Stenosis Treated with Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty and Stenting Guided by Brain Oximetry
In this report, we were able to perform a minimally invasive evaluation of blood flow in the posterior circulation using the brain oximeter which might be useful for surgical revascularisation not only in CA but also in VBA.PMID:36527626 | DOI:10.1007/978-3-031-14190-4_22

The relationship between CTA performances and cardiac function indicators in myocardial bridge and mural coronary artery
CONCLUSIONS: Cardiac function indicators, mainly CO and LVEF are correlated with the CTA performance of MB-MCA patients. The combination of cardiac function indicators has a good effect in predicting the severity of MB-MCA.PMID:37560240 | PMC:PMC10408538
