Re-entry experiences of Black men living with HIV/AIDS after release from prison: Intersectionality and implications for care
Conclusions Findings demonstrate the relevance of intersectionality theory in HIV care with Black men involved in criminal justice system. Incorporating a social-ecological perspective into intersectionality framework could be useful in theoretical and empirical research. Disenfranchised communities may particularly benefit from interventions that address community- and systemic-level issues.

Deciding without data: clinical decision-making in pediatric orthopedic surgery
ConclusionsWith increasing emphasis on high value, evidence-based care, understanding the rationale behind physician decision-making can educate physicians, identify common decisions without supporting evidence and help create clinical care pathways in pediatric orthopedic surgery. Decisions based on evidence or consensus between surgeons can inform pathways and national guidelines that minimize unwarranted variation in care and waste. Decision support tools and aids could also be implemented to guide these decisions.

The cascade of care in the Eastern European country of Georgia
ConclusionsThe findings of our analysis demonstrate that the majority of patients diagnosed with HIV infection are retained in care. Loss of patients occurs at each step of the HIV care continuum, but the major gap is at the stage of HIV diagnosis. Reducing the number of persons living with undiagnosed HIV infection and simultaneously enhancing engagement in continuous care will be critical to achieve maximum individual and public health benefits of ART.
