Detecting atrial fibrillation in the polysomnography-derived electrocardiogram: a software validation study
ConclusionSleep studies provide a valuable source of ECG recordings that can be easily subjected to software-based analysis in order to identify manifest AF and automatically assess the risk of PAF. For optimal evaluability of data, multiple channel ECG tracings are desirable. For assessment of PAF risk, the SRA ® analysis probably excels visual analysis, but sensitivity of both methods is low, reflecting that repeated ECG recording remains essential.

Predictors of 30-day mortality among patients with stroke admitted at a tertiary teaching hospital in Northwestern Tanzania: A prospective cohort study
ConclusionStroke is associated with a high 30-day mortality rate in Northwestern Tanzania. Concerted efforts are warranted in managing patients with stroke, with particular attention to individuals with severe strokes, ECG abnormalities, and swallowing difficulties to reduce early morbidity and mortality.

Prevalence and clinical significance of electrocardiographic signs of atrial myopathy in rheumatoid arthritis: results from the EDRA study
CONCLUSIONS: Electrocardiographic markers of atrial myopathy are independently associated with RA. Multi-modal fusion model for predicting adverse cardiovascular outcome post percutaneous coronary intervention
Conclusion. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study that developed a deep learning model with joint fusion architecture for the prediction of post-PCI prognosis and outperformed machine learning models developed using traditional single-source features (clinical variables or E CG features). Adding ECG data with clinical variables did not improve prediction of all-cause mortality as may be expected, but the improved performance of related cardiac outcomes shows that the fusion of ECG generates additional value.

Observational study on passive leg raising and the autonomic nervous system
This study aims to clarify these concomitant changes during PLR. A convenience number of healthy volunteers (N = 11) were recruited by advertisement in university departments. The subjects were exposed to the established PLR sequence and the heart rate (HR), mean arterial pressure (MAP), SV, and CO were sampled at 1 Hz, while electrocardiogram was recorded at 1000 Hz.
