Prevalence of ESBL-Producing < em > Enterobacter < /em > Species Resistant to Carbapenems in Iran: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
CONCLUSION: In accordance with the warning of international organizations, our results revealed a high prevalence of ESBL-producing Enterobacter species in Iran, which is probably associated with the high prevalence of Enterobacter species resistant to most of the assessed antibiotics, especially MDR strains. However, the resistance rate to carbapenems was relatively low, and these drugs can still be considered as drugs of choice for the treatment of Enterobacter infections in Iran. The increasing antimicrobial resistance of < em > Shigella < /em > species among Iranian pediatrics: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: Our findings revealed that ciprofloxacin is an effective drug for shigellosis in Iranian children.
