The Effectiveness of a Standardized Ice-Sheet Cooling Method Following Exertional Hyperthermia
CONCLUSION: ISC increases the cooling rate of those recovering from exertional hyperthermia. With the observed cooling rate, we can extrapolate that ISC would reduce core temperature by ∼2 °C within 30 minutes during a case of EHS.
