Prophylactic drug management for febrile seizures in children
CONCLUSIONS: We found reduced recurrence rates for intermittent diazepam and continuous phenobarbital, with adverse effects in up to 30% of children. The apparent benefit for clobazam treatment in one trial needs to be replicated. Levetiracetam also shows benefit with a good safety profile; however, further study is required. Trends in the prescription of drugs used for insomnia in Australian general practice, 2011-2018
CONCLUSION: Overall, BZD prescriptions in Australia declined from 2011-2018. However, the prescription of some of these drugs increased for patients with a recently recorded insomnia diagnosis. How to manage travel fatigue and jet lag in athletes? A systematic review of interventions.
CONCLUSIONS: We found no literature pertaining to the management of travel fatigue. Evidence for the successful management of jet lag in athletes was of low quality. Non-canonical Notch Signaling Regulates Actin Remodeling in Cell Migration by Activating PI3K/AKT/Cdc42 Pathway
In conclusion, our research results indicate that DAPT activates PI3K/AKT/Cdc42 signaling by non-canonical Notch pathway, and the activated Cdc42 promotes the filopodia formation and inhibits lamellipodia assembly, resulting in reduced migration of breast cancer cells. The results imply that non-canonical Notch signaling may play a very important role in the rapid response of cells to the extracellular signals.
