Food Addiction and Binge Eating Disorder in Relation to Dietary Patterns and Anthropometric Measurements: A Descriptive-Analytic Cross-Sectional Study in Iranian Adults with Obesity
This study investigates the association of FA and BED with dietary patterns and anthropometric measurements among 400 Iranian adults (aged 18-60; 66.25% women) living with obesity (body mass index [BMI] ≥ 30 kg/m2). The Binge Eating Scale and Yale Food Addiction Scale were used to measure BED and FA. A validated 147-item semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire underwent principal component analysis and identified three major dietary patterns: mixed, unhealthy, and healthy dietary pattern. The effect of β-caryophyllene on food addiction and its related behaviors: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial
This study explored the impacts of β-caryophyllene supplementation on eating behavior, appetite, mental health, anthropometric parameters, body composition, and some hormones related to appetite in women with obesity diagnosed with FA. Adjunct Triptorelin in the Treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder in Clients Receiving Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs)
Conclusion: The results of this study showed triptorelin decreased the symptoms of OCD. The effectiveness of triptorelin in the treatment of symptoms in clients with OCD was confirmed in our study. Financial Protection Indexes and the Iranian Health Transformation Plan: A Systematic Review
Conclusion: The findings show that the implementation of HTP has reduced health costs. In this regard and in order to keep reducing the costs that many people are unable to pay, the government and other organizations involved in the health system should provide sustainable financial resources in order to continue running HTP.
