Acute pain management in dermatology
Dermatologists perform many procedures that require acute pain control with local anesthesia and, in some cases, management of postoperative pain. Identifying early risk factors before a procedure can better prepare both the patient and provider anticipate acute postsurgical pain needs. Taking a multimodal, algorithmic approach to managing acute postsurgical pain in dermatology practice can effectively attenuate acute postsurgical paint and reduce patient opioid requirements.

Current practice of difficult airway management: A survey
Conclusion: Our survey showed that most respondents performed routine pre-operative airway assessment. A good armamentarium of airway gadgets should be made available in hospitals. Further training in techniques like video laryngoscopy, FOB or cricothyrotomy are essential.

Neurocutaneous disease
Dysesthesia is a generic term for a cutaneous symptom—such as pruritus, burning, tingling, stinging, anesthesia, hypoesthesia, tickling, crawling, cold sensation, or even pain—without a primary cutaneous condition in a well-defined location that is often caused by nerve trauma, impingement, or irritation. There are multiple types of dysesthesias depending on the body location and the nerves involved. While location, exact symptoms, and etiologies might vary, the underlying theme is that these conditions are of neurologic origin and have dermatologic consequences.
