vACcine COnfidence amongst those living with alleRgy during the COVID pandemic (ACCORD): a scoping review protocol
Reports of allergic reactions to the COVID-19 vaccines have been documented, which may also contribute to hesitancy. Despite the low likelihood that the COVID-19 vaccine will trigger an allergic reaction, we a...

Enhanced SARS-CoV-2 IgG durability following COVID-19 mRNA booster vaccination and comparison of BNT162b2 with mRNA-1273
CONCLUSION: COVID-19 mRNA vaccine boosters increase antibody durability, suggesting enhanced long-term clinical protection from SARS-CoV-2 infection compared to the two-shot regimen.PMID:36241020 | DOI:10.1016/j.anai.2022.10.003

Anaphylaxis in elderly people
Purpose of review Anaphylaxis is common in old-age adults but is insufficiently understood by physicians, and may be underdiagnosed. This review discusses the specificities of anaphylaxis in this age group and stresses the importance of adrenaline in its management. Recent findings Data from the European Anaphylaxis Registry on elderly patients is a major finding. Other findings include the prevention of possible anaphylactic reactions in coronavirus disease 2019 vaccination as well as some new epidemiologic data. Summary The most common risk factors are hymenoptera venom and food and drug allergy. Cardio...

Covid-19 vaccine reactions and suspected polyethylene glycol allergy: a pediatric case series
Studies have demonstrated tolerance in high risk patients receiving Covid-19 m-RNA vaccines containing polyethylene glycol (PEG) with rare reactions. There is limited pediatric data regarding safety in receiving PEG containing Covid-19 vaccines with a history of prior hypersensitivity reactions to PEG containing chemotherapy (PEG-CTX).

Using covid vaccine skin testing in shared decision making to address vaccine hesitancy
COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among healthcare workers (HCW) remains due to misconceptions. Our study attempts to improve vaccination rates among vaccine-hesitant healthcare workers as part of COVID-19 Vaccine Allergy Program.

Split-dosing of covid-19 vaccines is safe and provides non-inferior antibody responsiveness to conventional vaccine dosing
Vaccination has proven efficacy against COVID-19, yet allergic or adverse reactions have resulted in vaccine hesitancy nationwide. Graded or split dosing of vaccines is a relatively common allergy practice that is understudied for efficacy, particularly for COVID-19. We aimed to compare antibody responsiveness and safety of split versus conventional dosing of COVID-19 vaccines.
