COVID-19 Pandemic and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene: Impacts, Challenges, and Mitigation Strategies
CONCLUSION: This systematical review identified the impacts and challenges of COVID-19 in the provision of WASH services. The results implied that COVID-19 has significant impacts on WASH services that can affect the health of the public. Therefore, strengthening and ensuring access to WASH services are important for preventing COVID-19 and realizing human rights. Community engagement also can be used to support for prevention and control of COVID-19. Fortification of condiments and seasonings with iron for preventing anaemia and improving health
CONCLUSIONS: We are uncertain whether consuming iron-fortified condiments/seasonings reduces anaemia, improves haemoglobin concentration, or improves ferritin concentration. It may reduce ID. Findings about ferritin should be interpreted with caution since its concentrations increase during inflammation. Consuming condiments/seasonings fortified with iron plus other micronutrients may reduce anaemia, and we are uncertain whether this will improve haemoglobin concentration or ferritin concentration. Conclusion The results of this study identified gaps in the evidence on the effectiveness of grab bags, and found variations in guidelines and promotion practices across different countries. With the implementation of the Sendai Framework and its emphasis on an all-of-society approach to DRR1, there is an opportunity to raise widespread awareness of the importance of household preparedness. Teachers and Language Outcomes of Young Bilinguals: A Scoping Review
Conclusions Overall, the results of this synthesis suggest that teachers do in fact influence the language development of young bilinguals. Teacher talk and teacher quality were found to be the two themes that were of most interest in the research community, and the results generally supported the positive effect of teacher quality and teacher talk on language outcomes among bilinguals, with some variability.
