Influence of Clinically Significant Genes on Antiplatelet Effect of Clopidogrel and Clinical Outcomes in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome and Atrial Fibrillation
Conclusion: In our study, we determined that carriers of CYP4F2 gene polymorphisms C(Val433Met)T, PEAR1 rs41273215 C#x3e;T (CT+TT) were associated with lower safety of antithrombotic therapy in patients with ACS and AF. And, the B4GALT2 rs1061781 gene polymorphism was associated with a greater risk of insufficient efficacy of the therapy. The data obtained in our study may improve the understanding of the effect of less studied genetic markers on the efficacy and safety of antithrombotic therapy in patients with ACS and AF.Pharmacology

A novel risk score to identify the need for triple antithrombotic therapy in patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention: a post hoc analysis of the RE-DUAL PCI trial

Duration and clinical outcome of dual antiplatelet therapy after percutaneous coronary intervention: a retrospective cohort study using a medical information database from Japanese hospitals
In conclusion, early DAPT discontinuation is more likely in patients at high bleeding risk, but may influence the occurrence of ischemic events in these patients. Determination of DAPT duration should take into account potential ischemic risk, even in patients at high bleeding risk.

The WOEST 2 registry : A prospective registry on antithrombotic therapy in atrial fibrillation patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention
CONCLUSIONS: Patients on combined oral anticoagulation and antiplatelet therapy undergoing PCI are elderly and have both a high bleeding and ischaemic risk. Over time, a NOAC plus clopidogrel became the preferred treatment. PMID-35115097), the authors sought to evaluate whether the risk of bleeding or stroke as assessed by baseline HAS-BLED and CHA2DS2-VASc scores affected the results of the trial.
