Rivaroxaban Monotherapy is Preferable to Combination Therapy with Antiplatelets with Regards to Total Cardiovascular and Bleeding Events in Patients with AF and Stable CAD
In this study conducted across 294 centers, 2,215 patients were randomly assigned to rivaroxaban monotherapy, or therapy with rivaroxaban in combination with aspirin or a P2Y12 inhibitor. All patients were diagnosed with AF with a CHADS2 score greater than one, as well as confirmed CAD without percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) or coronary artery bypass grafting within 12 months. Duration and clinical outcome of dual antiplatelet therapy after percutaneous coronary intervention: a retrospective cohort study using a medical information database from Japanese hospitals
In conclusion, early DAPT discontinuation is more likely in patients at high bleeding risk, but may influence the occurrence of ischemic events in these patients. Determination of DAPT duration should take into account potential ischemic risk, even in patients at high bleeding risk.

Randomised controlled trial to investigate optimal antithrombotic therapy in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention: a study protocol of the OPTIMA-AF trial

Safety and Efficacy of Low-Dose Prasugrel as Part of Triple Therapy With Aspirin and Oral Anticoagulants in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention 　- From the TWMU-AF PCI Registry.

Utilization of Anticoagulant and Antiplatelet Agents Among Patients With Atrial Fibrillation Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention 　- Retrospective Cohort Study Using a Nationwide Claims Database in Japan.
CONCLUSIONS: Among Japanese AF patients who underwent PCI, prescriptions for antiplatelet agents were more common than those for anticoagulant agents. The majority of study participants were classified as high risk, suggesting a need for a new risk classification that reflects the risk profiles of Japanese patients.
