Tumor Genomic Profile Is Associated With Arterial Thromboembolism Risk in  Patients With Solid Cancer
CONCLUSIONS: In a large genomic tumor-profiling registry of patients with solid cancers, alterations in KRAS and STK11 were associated with an increased risk for ATE independent of cancer type. We report herein three cases of major hepatectomy with IVC invasion and discuss several surgical tips.Patients and MethodsFrom March 2011 to February 2014, we retrospectively reviewed three cases of adrenal malignancy with liver and IVC invasion. Venous thromboembolism in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia
Abstract Venous thromboembolism (VTE) occurs in 0.95–36 % of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia almost exclusively during chemotherapy. It is most commonly associated with concurrent l-asparaginase and steroid therapy, central venous line use, and inherited thrombophilia.
