Reversal and Resumption of Antithrombotic Therapy in LVAD-Associated Intracranial Hemorrhage
ConclusionsReversal of anticoagulation appears safe after LVAD-associated intracranial hemorrhage, though inadequate reversal was common. Resumption of warfarin ± antiplatelet was associated with fewer fatal and nonfatal thrombotic events compared with antiplatelets alone, though more nonfatal hemorrhage events occurred.

Obesity is associated with worse long-term outcomes in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy patients with acute myocardial infarction.

Cardiovascular mortality and morbidity in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
CONCLUSIONS: Almost one third of OHCA patients undergoing PCI die and more than one third of the fatalities are attributable to cardiovascular causes. The burden of ischemic and bleeding complications was consistently higher and the success rates of PCI lower among OHCA as compared to non-OHCA patients. CONCLUSIONS: SAVSTEB is a comparatively simple, safe and efficacious technique to create the anastomosis between tetrabranched arch grafts and the supra-aortic arteries in the short and intermediate term. Outflow cannula position for left ventricular assist device: A propensity score ‐matched study
ConclusionNo observed difference in mortality when adjusting for competing risk of heart transplantation. There was also no difference in stroke, pump thrombosis, driveline infection. Larger studies are required to confirm these findings. These preliminary data support the use of left-sided anastomoses to facilitate subsequent re-entry during heart transplantation.

Systematic review of outcomes of combined proximal stent grafting with distal bare stenting for management of aortic dissection
Conclusions: Combined proximal stent grafting with distal bare stenting for management of aortic dissection appears to be a reasonable approach for type B aortic dissection, clearly improved true-lumen perfusion and diameter although failing to suppress false-lumen patency completely. Contemporary information on this approach is mainly provided by small series with a wide range of results.
