Associations between hematopoietic growth factors and risks of venous thromboembolism, stroke, ischemic heart disease and myelodysplastic syndrome: findings from a large population-based cohort of women with breast cancer
Conclusions Receipts of CSFs and ESAs were significantly associated with an increased risk of VTE in women with breast cancer. Use of ESAs was significantly associated with substantially increased risks of MDS. These findings support those of previous studies.

CONCLUSION: Our study demonstrates widespread use of bevacizumab among patients who had contraindications. Black patients were less likely to receive the drug, but those who did were more likely to have a contraindication. Increased risk of arterial thromboembolism in older men with breast cancer
ConclusionsWe provide population-based evidence that male breast cancer patients have a substantially elevated risk of ATE in the first year following a cancer diagnosis compared with matched controls. Care providers should consider this heightened risk when evaluating cardiovascular health in men with a recent breast cancer diagnosis.

Risk of Cardiovascular Diseases Among Older Breast Cancer Survivors in the United States: A Matched Cohort Study.
CONCLUSIONS: Women with a history of breast cancer were at increased risk of several CVDs, persisting into survivorship.
