Impact of Implementing Cardiac CT in Evaluating Patients Suspected of Cardioembolic Stroke
Conclusions: Implementing cardiac CT in assessing patients suspected of cardioembolic stroke added value to echocardiographic evaluation, by detecting major embolic potential findings. In addition, cardiac CT revealed additional potentially significant stroke-unrelated findings and CAD.

Clinical and Imaging Characteristics of Arteriopathy Subtypes in Children with Arterial Ischemic Stroke: Results of the VIPS Study PEDIATRICS
CONCLUSIONS: Childhood arteriopathy subtypes have some typical features that aid diagnosis. Better imaging methods, including vessel wall imaging, are needed for improved classification of focal cerebral arteriopathy of childhood.

Endovascular treatment of pediatric ischemic stroke: A single center experience and review of the literature.
We report our single-center experience with thrombectomy of LVO in a series of pediatric patients, and perform a review of the literature. METHODS: Retrospective review of consecutive pediatric thrombectomy cases between 2011 and 2018. Demographic variables, imaging data, technical aspects and clinical outcome were recorded. RESULTS: In a period of 7 years, 7 children were treated for LVO at our center. Median age was 13 (2-17), and median Ped-NIHSS was 15 (3-24), and the median ASPECTS was 8 (2-10). Internal Carotid Artery Floating Thrombus in Relapsing Polychondritis
We present a 52‐year‐old man without any known risk factors for stroke, treated with prednisone and azathioprine for relapsing polychondritis, who presented a minor left hemisphere stroke. Ultrasound of the neck vessels revealed an isoechogenic thrombus in the left internal carotid artery superimposed on a smooth moderately stenosing isoechogenic atheroma of the carotid bulb. Intracranial and Extracranial Neurovascular Manifestations of Takayasu Arteritis ADULT BRAIN
CONCLUSIONS: Intracranial vascular abnormalities in patients with Takayasu arteritis presenting with neurologic symptoms are not rare, with cerebral vasculitis seen in 7.8% of patients, and stroke secondary to large-vessel occlusion, in 3.9% of patients. Cervical vascular manifestations of Takayasu arteritis were present in most patients in our study.
