Simultaneous onset of myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke in a patient with atrial fibrillation: Multiple territory injury revealed on angiography and magnetic resonance
An 84-year-old man with a history of hypertension and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF) who received no anticoagulant drugs experienced acute chest pain and transient loss of consciousness. Antithrombotic therapy for atrial fibrillation and coronary artery disease in older patients
Conclusions Among older patients with AF and CAD, overall warfarin use was low. Patients ≥80 years old at highest stroke risk received warfarin in similar proportions to the overall cohort. Further investigation into optimizing antithrombotic strategies in this population is warranted.

Imaging the aortic arch to improve diagnostic and prognostic accuracy in transient ischemic attack patients
This study raises a final relevant question: since the prognosis of TIA patients worsens in proportion to the severity of AAA, what therapeutic options are available for these patients? Arrive: A retrospective registry of Indian patients with venous thromboembolism
Conclusion: Acute DVT alone was responsible for the substantial burden of VTE in Indian patients. Bleeding was not the limiting factor for anticoagulant treatment in most patients.

Association of Dental Infections with Intracranial Atherosclerotic Stenosis
