Conclusions Patterns of disease are changing rapidly in LMICs. Pollution-related chronic diseases are becoming more common. Conclusion: To address the many challenges posed by EDCs, we argue that Africans should take the lead in prioritization and evaluation of environmental hazards, including EDCs.
