State-level Google search volumes for neck and shoulder pain correlate with psychosocial and behavioral health indicators
CONCLUSION: This study highlights the potential of search engine data to be utilized as population-level health indicators. Quality Improvement in Childhood Obesity Management through the Maintenance of Certification Process
Conclusions: Participation in the HOPE MOC Part 4 program appeared to improve knowledge acquisition, self-efficacy, and physician compliance with recommended practice recommendations for the screening, prevention, and management of pediatric obesity. Further data are required to determine whether such practice-based improvements translate into actual reduction in patient weight and/or reduction in health-related costs related to overweight and obesity in youth.

Conclusions: This survey highlights several educational gaps, including differences between PCPs and cardiologists, on the perceptions of β-blockers for hypertension treatment. Future efforts should include physician education on relevant evidence-based differences between β-blockers, given their heterogeneity.

Perception and Awareness of Bariatric Surgery in Canada: a National Survey of General Surgeons
Conclusions There appears to be support for bariatric surgery among Canadian general surgeons participating in this survey. Knowledge gaps identified indicate the need for more education and resources to support general surgeons managing bariatric surgical patients.

Development and outcomes of an immersive obesity summit workshop for medical resident and fellow education
SummaryPhysicians need better training to manage patients with obesity. Our study capitalized on the intimate nature of an extracurricular obesity workshop, creating an interactive educational programme. We assessed the short ‐ and long‐term impact of the workshop on trainees' knowledge, competence and confidence in caring for patients with obesity in an outpatient setting.
