Asymptomatic Carotid Stenosis Is Associated With Circadian and Other Variability in Embolus Detection
Conclusions: Embolism associated with asymptomatic carotid stenosis shows circadian variation with highest rates 4–6 h before midday. This corresponds with peak circadian incidence of stroke and other vascular complications. Outcome With the Repositionable and Retrievable Boston Scientific Lotus Valve Compared With the Balloon-Expandable Edwards Sapien 3 Valve in Patients Undergoing Transfemoral Aortic Valve Replacement Structural Heart Disease
Conclusions— Transfemoral aortic valve replacement with the ES3 and the Lotus were associated with similar 30-day, 12-month, and 24-month clinical outcomes. Outcomes of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation in High Surgical Risk and Inoperable Patients with Aortic Stenosis ‐ A Single Australian Centre Experience
ConclusionsTAVI with various valve systems, delivered via a number of approaches, is feasible in high surgical risk and inoperable patients with severe aortic stenosis, with acceptable outcomes at short‐ and intermediate‐term follow‐up.
