Association of trajectories of non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol concentration with risk of cardiovascular disease: the Kailuan Study
Conclusions Changes in non-HDL-C were significantly associated with subsequent risk of CVD events, and participants with a high-increasing pattern had a higher CVD risk. Long-term monitoring of non-HDL-C could be useful to improve the prediction of CVD risk. Trial registration number ChiCTR-TNC-1100148.

Mortality before and after reconfiguration of the Danish hospital-based emergency healthcare system: a nationwide interrupted time series analysis
Conclusions The Danish emergency care reconfiguration programme was not associated with an improvement in overall in-hospital mortality trends and was associated with a slight slowing of prior improvements in 30-day mortality trends.

Multimorbidity of cardiometabolic diseases: a cross-sectional study of patterns, clusters and associated risk factors in sub-Saharan Africa
Conclusion Our findings show that cardiometabolic multimorbidity and lifestyle risk factors cluster in distinct patterns with a disproportionate burden among women, middle-aged, persons in high socioeconomic positions, and those with sedentary lifestyles and obesity. These results provide insights for health systems response in SSA to focus on these clusters as potential targets for integrated care.

Prevalence and factors associated with undiagnosed type 2 diabetes among adults in Iraq: analysis of cross-sectional data from the 2015 STEPS survey

Danish validation of the Multimorbidity Treatment Burden Questionnaire (MTBQ) and findings from a population health survey: a mixed-methods study
Conclusion The Danish MTBQ is a valid measure of treatment burden with good construct validity and high internal reliability. This is the first study to explore treatment burden at a population level and provides important evidence to policy makers and clinicians about sociodemographic groups at risk of higher treatment burden.

Community pharmacy interventions for health promotion: effects on professional practice and health outcomes.
CONCLUSIONS: Health-promotion interventions in the community pharmacy context probably improve pharmacy workers' behaviour and probably have a slight beneficial effect on health-related behaviour, intermediate clinical outcomes, and quality of life for pharmacy users. Such interventions are likely to be cost-effective and the effects are seen across a range of clinical conditions and health-related behaviours. Antiplatelet and anticoagulant therapy in elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Poland (based on the PolSenior Study).
