Compare the Efficacy of Dienogest and the Levonorgestrel Intrauterine System in Women with Adenomyosis
This study enrolled 117 women with symptomatic adenomyosis who visited our hospital from May 1, 2019, to June 30, 2022. Participants were randomized to either the LNG-IUS group (n = 48) or the DNG group (n = 79) in an as-controlled clinical trial for 36 months. Visual analog scale (VAS) scores, uterine volume, endometrial thickness, serum carcinoma antigen 125 level, estradiol, follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, and side effects were assessed to compare the efficacy of LNG-IUS and DNG.FINDINGS: The VAS pain score was significantly decreased in both groups after 3 months of treatment. Three months later, pat...

The Application of 18F-FES PET in Clinical Cancer Care: A Systematic Review
CONCLUSIONS: [18F]fluoroestradiol PET is not only a convenient and accurate diagnostic imaging tool for detecting ER-expressing lesions in patients with breast and ovarian cancer but also among patients with uterine cancer. [18F]fluoroestradiol PET is a noninvasive predictive and monitoring tool for treatment response and prognosis.PMID:37482660 | DOI:10.1097/RLU.0000000000004760

Trans-ethnic Mendelian randomization study of systemic lupus erythematosus and common female hormone-dependent malignancies
CONCLUSION: This finding suggests a possible causal effect of SLE on the risk of overall endometrial cancer and breast cancer in European and East Asian populations, respectively, by MR analysis, which compensates for inherent limitations of observational research.PMID:37027287 | DOI:10.1097/CM9.0000000000002555

Protective effect of eicosapentaenoic acid against estradiol valerate-induced endometrial hyperplasia via modulation of NF- κB/HIF-1α/VEGF signaling pathway in rats
CONCLUSIONS: EPA in the used doses provided biochemical and histopathological improvement in EV-induced EH via modulation of NF-κB/HIF-1α/VEGF signaling pathway.PMID:36774993 | DOI:10.1016/j.cbi.2023.110399
