Pregnancy-associated gynecological cancer in New South Wales, Australia 1994-2013: A population-based historical cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: The incidence of PAGC has not increased over time perhaps reflecting, in part, the effectiveness of cervical screening and early impacts of human papillomavirus vaccination programs in Australia. The higher rate of preterm birth among the gestational PAGC group is associated with adverse outcomes in babies born to these women.PMID:36915236 | DOI:10.1111/aogs.14530

Cervical cancer in Ethiopia: a review of the literature
CONCLUSIONS: Cervical cancer continues to be a major public health problem affecting thousands of women in Ethiopia. As the disease is purely preventable, classic cervical cancer prevention strategies that include HPV vaccination using a broad genotype coverage, screening using a high precision test, and treating cervical precancerous lesions in the earliest possible time could prevent most cervical cancer cases in Ethiopia. The provision of a focused health education supported by educational materials would increase the knowledge of women about cervical cancer in general and the uptake of cervical cancer prevention and sc...

Impact of a Papillomavirus Vaccination Promotion Program in Middle School: Study Protocol for a Cluster Controlled Trial
CONCLUSIONS: In this study, we explore the impact of a health promotion program combining information toward students, parents, and general practitioners with free school-based vaccination. We expect a significantly higher HPV vaccination coverage in the intervention school as compared to the control school, whether it be among girls or boys. The final implication would be an extension of this program in all middle schools on the Island and thus an increase in HPV vaccination coverage.TRIAL REGISTRATION: ClinicalTrials.gov NCT04459221; https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04459221.INTERNATIONAL REGISTERED REPORT IDENTIFI...
