Co phthalocyanine mediated electrochemical detection of the HER2 in the presence of Au and CeO < sub > 2 < /sub > nanoparticles and graphene quantum dots
Bioelectrochemistry. 2022 Oct 15;149:108301. doi: 10.1016/j.bioelechem.2022.108301. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTIn this work, cobalt tetra phenoxy acetic acid phthalocyanine (CoTAPc) is investigated as an electron mediator, immobilization platform for an HB5 aptamer and to enhance the electrochemical signal for the detection of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). Furthermore, the CoTAPc was combined individually with sulphur/nitrogen doped graphene quantum dots (SNGQDs), gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and cerium oxide nanoparticles (CeO2NPs), on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) via sequential adsorption. The CoTA...

Cytotoxicity, antinociceptive and gastroproiltective potential of the Abuta selloana Eichler: a fruit plant from Catarinense flora, Brazil
In conclusion, A. selloana had interesting biological activities; presenting the leaves as a promising source for compounds with cytotoxic potential, however, further studies should be performed to confirm its antitumoral activity. Besides, the whole plant can be an important source of bioactive compounds associated with gastroprotective and antinociceptive properties.PMID:36228215 | DOI:10.1590/0001-3765202220210145

Acetic Acid Mediated for One-Pot Synthesis of Novel Pyrazolyl < em > s < /em > -Triazine Derivatives for the Targeted Therapy of Triple-Negative Breast Tumor Cells (MDA-MB-231) < em > via < /em > EGFR/PI3K/AKT/mTOR Signaling Cascades
Pharmaceutics. 2022 Jul 27;14(8):1558. doi: 10.3390/pharmaceutics14081558.ABSTRACTHere, we described the synthesis of novel pyrazole-s-triazine derivatives via an easy one-pot procedure for the reaction of β-dicarbonyl compounds (ethylacetoacetate, 5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexadione or 1,3-cyclohexadionone) with N,N-dimethylformamide dimethylacetal, followed by addition of 2-hydrazinyl-4,6-disubstituted-s-triazine either in ethanol-acetic acid or neat acetic acid to afford a novel pyrazole and pyrazole-fused cycloalkanone systems. The synthetic protocol proved to be efficient, with a shorter reaction time and high chemical y...

L-norvaline affects the proliferation of breast cancer cells based on the microbiome and metabolome analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Fecal metabolites and microbiota were significantly altered in breast cancer. Levels of differential metabolites (i.e., Norvaline) were significantly correlated with the abundance of differential microbiota. L-norvaline combined with DOX could clearly inhibit the proliferation activity of breast cancer cells.SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF STUDY: This might provide clues to uncover potential biomarkers for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.PMID:35543360 | DOI:10.1111/jam.15620

The Differential Selectivity of Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor (AHR) Agonists towards AHR-Dependent Suppression of Mammosphere Formation and Gene Transcription in Human Breast Cancer Cells
In conclusions, the results demonstrated that the suppressive effects of AHR agonists on mammosphere formation do not necessarily correlate with their abilities to induce AHR-mediated gene transcription. Hence, different AHR functions may be differentially induced in an agonist-dependent manner.PMID:33790107 | DOI:10.1248/bpb.b20-00961
