In this study, we used the recently released Infinium Mouse Methylation BeadChip to compare such epigenetic modifications in C57BL/6 (B6) and DBA/2J (DBA) mice. We observed marked differences in age-associated DNA methylation in these commonly used inbred mouse strains, indicating that epigenetic clocks for one strain cannot be simply applied to other strains without further verification. Interestingly, the CpGs with highest age-correlation were still overlapping in B6 and DBA mice and included the genes Hsf4, Prima1, Aspa, and Wnt3a. COVID-19 Vaccination and Anti-CD19 CAR T Cell-Induced B Cell Aplasia
We would like to comment on the article “Immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in young patients with anti-CD19 CAR-T-induced B-cell aplasia” by Jarisch et al. [1]. According to the authors, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) messenger RNA vaccines induce substantial cellular immunity in patients with is olated B-cell deficit owing to anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy. We agree that patients with anti-CD19 CAR T cell-induced B cell aplasia may or may not have a different immunologic response to Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination.
