Efficacy of Cranial Orthosis for Plagiocephaly Based on 2D and 3D Evaluation
Conclusion Cranial orthosis treatment was effective in correcting deformational plagiocephaly in infants, as demonstrated by improvements in both 2D and 3D metrics. Patients with more severe initial deformities and those who underwent treatment at a younger age showed greater improvement.PMID:38596144 | PMC:PMC11001441 | DOI:10.1055/a-2222-1494 (Source: Archives of Plastic Surgery)

What constitutes breast-related quality of life? A comparison of normative scores of two BREAST-Q modules
ConclusionsThe results suggest that different modules cannot be used to compare different patient groups. This begs the question if the time has come for a comprehensive pre-operative BREAST-Q domains that measure breast-related quality of life irrespective of any specific breast-conditions. The difference between version 1.0 and 2.0 of BREAST-Q, might lead to difficulty when results from different studies are compared.Level of EvidenceNot ratable (Source: European Journal of Plastic Surgery)

The Orbicularis Oculi Muscle Sparing Full-Incision Double-Eyelid Blepharoplasty
ConclusionThe orbiculars oculi muscle sparing full-incision double-eyelid blepharoplasty contributes to the conservation of the physiology of the eyelid structure, producing a reliable, nature, dynamic double-eyelid crease with a light scar and less complication.Level of Evidence IVThis journal requires that authors assign a level of evidence to each article. Revisiting The Nipple-Areola Complex: A Study on Aesthetic Preferences
The nipple-areola complex (NAC) is a focal aesthetic subunit of the breast, and the size and placement of the NAC is a component of both reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery. In patients undergoing NAC reconstruction following mastectomy, NAC position is informed by the size and shape of the breast mound and the surgeon ’s aesthetic judgment. Patient perspectives toward the aesthetic NAC positioning, size, and pigmentation are not well understood. Prior investigations have been limited in their evaluation of cosmetic permutations.
