Foreign Undergrad, First Year in Foreign Med School, Applying to US Med School
Hi! I'm in a bit of a complicated situation and would like to get as much advice as I can get.
I finished my undergraduate degree in Biology in the Philippines. Wanting to avoid taking out loans for both undergrad and medical school, I applied for a medical school in the same country and got accepted. So I am currently in my first year in med school. Im planning to go to med school. Currently I work as an IT consultant and I hold a degree in physics. As I mostly read here in sdn, non trad students should get clinical experience regardless. I live in the philippines btw and would like to go to a US or even carribean med school. Currently IM taking BLS training in red cross and start to eventually volunteer as a first responder.
