Class advice needed :)
Hello all,
I'm trying to register for the Fall semester and would like to get some advice from you guys!
I've taken pretty much all the prerequisites, and the remaining classes I'm interested in are:
Neuropsychopharmacology vs. Pharmacology
Molecular Toxicology
Parasitology
Other than pure science classes like Anatomy, Pathology, etc..., I'm not sure if these classes are offered in med school or related to Medicine at all.

Is there a reason why Medical schools don't like vocational majors ?
I keep hearing this but its conflicting because not all vocational majors are less scientifically rigorous. In fact, my major is probably more rigorous than a typical biochemistry or biology major.

Naturopathic Doctor? Parasites in blood? What?
So my friend recently went to someone who has is a "Naturopathic Doctor." He told my friend that he had parasites in his blood and apparently showed him under a microscope in real time? My degree is in Medical Laboratory Science, (looking at blood under the microscope is kind of a big part of the major) and I've never seen a "parasite." Who are these people?
