Clinical trial indicates gabapentin is safe and effective for treating alcohol dependence
(Scripps Research Institute) The generic drug gabapentin, which is already widely prescribed for epilepsy and some kinds of pain, appears to be safe and effective in the treatment of alcohol dependence. (total abdominal hysterectomy – ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and cervix- as well as removal of 4cm cyst) via robotic laparoscopic procedure on the 17th of October – 4 small incisions in belly, discharged from hospital on the 18th. The spot that has been noticeably painful is the incision in my belly button. Due to lack of help at home, there have been several occasions where I bent down (didn’t use legs – didn’t think of it) to pick up something small from the floor, look under the bed, or load the dishwasher I’ve mostly stayed down since arriving home.
