2016 - 2017 University at Buffalo (SUNY) Waitlist Thread
As per tradition, the sdn community tends to always have a separate dedicated thread to monitor waitlist movement at the University at Buffalo (SUNY), so I figure I'll be starting this up for this 2016-2017 Cycle. Please follow the format and rules ladies and germs, and let's hope we see more waitlist movement than the past 2015-2016 cycle . First, a little bit of a history lesson! UB is notorious for waitlist movement and has a very interesting waitlist system in general. It is a well... 2016 - 2017 University at Buffalo (SUNY) Waitlist Thread (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Would the FL's in Kaplan's online course be the same they were 18 months ago?
I may end up taking the MCAT again. Unbalanced 510 with a low B/B score. No interviews yet. I liked Kaplan and I felt that their FL's were probably my most useful resource. I probably wouldn't remember most of the questions' answers, but just curious, would the FL's be exactly the same? I didn't utilize the class as well as I should have. Just watched a handful of lessons and did the majority of the full lengths, maybe 7 of 11. So I think there is still a lot of value left in there for me to... Things I Learn From My Patients
Tonight I learned yet another helpful life lesson from one of my patients. If you're on the street corner selling coke and you see the cops coming to bust you don't eat all your coke. Having been taught this valuable lesson I will now know better than to do this and wind up going to the ER in handcuffs, seizing uncontrollably, aspirating my vomit and doing all of this with a white powder moustache looking like and ad for "Got Coke?" Adages from the ER.
1.) If you want to complain about the use of the term "ER" and not "ED", then please - eff off. 2) Use this thread to post the best adages, advice, lessons, parables, etc - that you have heard, lived, learned, spoken... whatever. I'll start it off, and maybe set the tone by example. One of my senior attendings wrangled me as an intern after a situation in which I became (likely) unnecessarily angry at a situation in which I felt that "my time was being wasted". Dr. GoodGuy said to me:... Adages from the ER. (Source: Student Doctor Network)
