Surgical treatment of clinically infected mandibular fractures
ConclusionsPostoperative surgical site complications are common after treatment of infected mandibular fractures, and these occur despite the chosen surgical approach. Infected mandibular fractures heal mainly without bone grafting, and non-union is a rare complication.
