Neurodevelopmental Outcome of the Infants with Transient Hypothyroxinemia of Prematurity in Newborn Intensive Care Unit
CONCLUSION: This study showed that although levothyroxine replacement therapy associated with BPD and ROP higher rates, it seems not to improve long-term neurological outcomes in infants with THOP. Minipuberty in Male Full-term Neonates Appropriate and Small for Gestational Age and in Preterm Babies: Data From a Single Centre
CONCLUSIONS: This study provides valuable information on the postnatal HPG axis activation in term and preterm infants. Minipuberty may involve an early window of opportunity to evaluate the HPG axis functionality. CONCLUSION: This study compiles findings from the last decade and provides an updated picture of the prevalence of SHOX variations in Asians, emphasizing their potential as therapeutic targets in ISS patients. We report the case of an 8-year-old boy with central diabetes insipidus (CDI) who was clinically diagnosed with LINH based on RPH3A-Ab positivity. He was diagnosed with CDI using a water deprivation test combined with desmopressin administration.
