Neurodevelopmental Outcome of the Infants with Transient Hypothyroxinemia of Prematurity in Newborn Intensive Care Unit
CONCLUSION: This study showed that although levothyroxine replacement therapy associated with BPD and ROP higher rates, it seems not to improve long-term neurological outcomes in infants with THOP. Prospective controlled studies with larger sample size are needed to clarify the role of levothyroxine replacement in THOP.PMID:37750208 | DOI:10.4274/jcrpe.galenos.2023.2023-6-5
