Substance use among university students in Ethiopia: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusion and recommendation:Thestudies showed that students in Ethiopian higher learning institutions reported high levels of substance use, especially alcohol, tobacco and khat. Adverse impacts on students ’ academic performance were observed. This finding warrants the attention of policy makers to design preventive, counseling and rehabilitative programs for these students. Relationship between oral health characteristics and lung disease among Korean adults
Conclusion:From the study, we can say that the relationship between lung disease and oral health is significantly positive correlate. So, there is a need to consider periodontal tissue, prosthesis condition, temporomandibular joints, and the presence of the periodontal disease among lung disease patients This study also highlights the necessity of oral health education awareness-raising programs for patients with lung diseases.   [Ethiop. Willingness to join a village-based health insurance scheme (Iddir) in Dessie town, Ethiopia
Conclusion:Iddir association initiated health insurance scheme and considered the possible alternative source of finance for healthcare. The prevalence of willingness to join an iddir-based health insurance scheme was high. Multimorbidity and predictors of mortality among patients with cardiovascular disorders admitted to an intensive care unit: a retrospective study
Conclusions:There is a significant proportion of multimorbidity in our study population. Multimorbidity may be used as a criterion to prioritize and improve the management of patients. Measures to prevent cardiovascular disease in people who already have hypertension, diabetes or underlying causes of heart failure in primary care settings need to be emphasized. A process analysis of the Namibian Health System: An exploratory case study
Conclusion: There is a need to strengthen collaboration between the national HISs and vertical health systems (VHSs) to address curb the integration challenges. The Ministry of Health (MoH) needs to invest in capacity building projects to train HIS officers on data analysis and use of DHIS 2. The sanitary conditions of food and drink establishments in Woldia town, Northeastern Ethiopia
Conclusions and recommendations:We found that most of the establishments had low level of sanitary conditions. The main problems were the poor state of repair of kitchen and dining room floors; insufficient solid and liquid waste management; the lack of latrine facilities and poor latrine management; the lack of acceptable types of facilities for clients to wash their hands, and for kitchen staff to wash dishes and glasses. Food establishments that were checked frequently by regulatory authorities had good sanitary practice compared to non-inspected establishments. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus with genotyping method among human immunodeficiency virus positive pediatric patients in Northwest Ethiopia: A cross-sectional study design
Conclusion:A high prevalence of pathogenic MRSA strains among HIV positive pediatric patients was observed. Most of the MRSA types were hospital acquired.
