A facelift procedure for resection of a branchial cleft cysts
Branchial cleft cysts (BCCs) are common in daily practice, however, BCC patients suffer aesthetic problems due to postoperative scars on visible parts after surgery. To analyze the feasibility, surgical outcomes and possible risks and complications encountered during a facelift procedure for patients with BCC. (Source: Auris, Nasus, Larynx)

Characteristics and diagnostic approach of vestibular migraine in children and adolescents: A systematic review
Vestibular migraine (VM) is the most common cause of episodic vertigo afflicts 1% of the general population. The complexity of VM is owing to the migrainous, and vestibular components and much knowledge have been gained in recent years on VM in the adult population. Akin to that, numerous studies focusing on VM in children and adolescent has emerged. We reviewed the literature to understand the characteristics and diagnostic approach of VM in children and adolescents. (Source: Auris, Nasus, Larynx)

Transnasal photoimmunotherapy with cetuximab sarotalocan sodium: Outcomes on the local recurrence of nasopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma
Photoimmunotherapy for head and neck cancer (HNC-PIT) is a newly developed locoregional treatment targeting the epidermal growth factor. This treatment consists in administering cetuximab sarotalocan sodium that conjugates cetuximab with the dye IRdye700DX, which is activated by near-infrared ray illumination at 690 nm. HNC-PIT has been conditionally approved in Japan in September 2020 for the treatment of unresectable locally advanced or unresectable locoregionally recurrent HNC. However, its outcomes on the local recurrence of the nasopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (NPSCC) remain undetermined. (Source: Auris, Nasus, Larynx)

The add-on effect of an intranasal antihistamine with an intranasal corticosteroid in Japanese cedar pollinosis
Combination intranasal drugs with a corticosteroid and antihistamine are available in several countries with better effect than treatments with single agents. However, it remains unclear whether this effect is also seen in Japanese cedar pollinosis (JCP), the most prevalent seasonal allergic rhinitis in Japan. We investigated the effect of an add-on intranasal antihistamine with an intranasal corticosteroid in JCP during the pollen dispersal period. (UMIN000025508) (Source: Auris, Nasus, Larynx)

Spasmodic dysphonia: An overview of clinical features and treatment options
Spasmodic dysphonia (SD) is considered a rare focal laryngeal dystonia characterized by task-specific voice dysfluency resulting from selective intrinsic laryngeal musculature hyperfunction. Symptoms may be attenuated by a sensory trick. Although SD can be seen at times in generalized dystonia syndrome, it is typically a sporadic phenomenon, and the involvement of the laryngeal adductor muscles is more common than that of the abductor muscles. This research reviews the literature for the pathogenesis, clinical characteristics, treatment options, and current management methods of SD. (Source: Auris, Nasus, Larynx)

Bioinformatics analyses proposed xenotropic and polytropic retrovirus receptor 1 as a potential diagnostic and prognostic biomarker and immunotherapeutic target in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma
The role of Xenotropic and polytropic retrovirus receptor 1 (XPR1), a cell surface receptor for certain types of murine leukemia viruses, in human cancers has been rarely studied. We aimed to evaluate the values of XPR1 as a biomarker and therapeutic target in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). (Source: Auris, Nasus, Larynx)
