Bioprosthetic leaflet thrombosis and reduced leaflet motion after transcatheter aortic valve replacement: A systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: The proportion of leaflet thrombosis is highly variable according to the screening approach, the type of valve and the use of oral anticoagulation. The occurrence of cerebral events is increased when leaflet thrombosis and/or reduced leaflet motion are diagnosed, but leaflet thrombosis has no impact on survival.PMID:37968182 | DOI:10.1016/j.acvd.2023.10.003 (Source: Archives of Cardiovascular Diseases)

Information provision and follow-up of French patients with implantable cardioverter-defibrillators: The APODEC survey
CONCLUSION: These findings highlight the lack of information provided to implantable cardioverter-defibrillator recipients before implantation, a concerning issue to be addressed in the near future.PMID:37953189 | DOI:10.1016/j.acvd.2023.10.005 (Source: Archives of Cardiovascular Diseases)

Transfemoral versus trans-subclavian access in transcatheter aortic valve implantation using self-expandable valve: A propensity-matched comparison
CONCLUSIONS: The subclavian approach provides similar results to the transfemoral approach in terms of mortality, efficacy and safety; it is a reasonable and effective alternative when the reference transfemoral approach is impossible or seems complex.PMID:37940389 | DOI:10.1016/j.acvd.2023.09.006 (Source: Archives of Cardiovascular Diseases)
