Transcriptomic profiling reveals distinct subsets of immune checkpoint inhibitor induced myositis
Conclusions We identified three distinct types of ICI-myositis based on transcriptomic analyses. The IL6 pathway was overexpressed in all groups, the type I interferon pathway activation was specific for ICI-DM, the type 2 IFN pathway was overexpressed in both ICI-DM and ICI-MYO1 and only ICI-MYO1 patients developed myocarditis. Uptake and effectiveness of newer biologic and targeted synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs in psoriatic arthritis: results from five Nordic biologics registries
Conclusion Uptake of newer b/tsDMARDs occurred mainly in biologic-experienced patients. Regardless of mode of action, only a minority of patients starting a second or later b/tsDMARD course remained on drug and achieved LDA. Superior outcomes for adalimumab indicate that the positioning of newer b/tsDMARDs in the PsA treatment algorithm remains to be established. (Source: Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases)

Immunomics analysis of rheumatoid arthritis identified precursor dendritic cells as a key cell subset of treatment resistance
Conclusions An increase in pre-DC in peripheral blood predicted RA treatment resistance. Pre-DC could have pathophysiological relevance to RA treatment response. (Source: Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases)

Pathogenic antibody response to glucose-6-phosphate isomerase targets a modified epitope uniquely exposed on joint cartilage
Conclusions We have identified the major pathogenic B cell epitope of the RA-associated autoantigen GPI, at position 293–307, exposed only on structurally modified GPI on the cartilage surface. B cells to this neo-epitope escape tolerance and could potentially play a role in the pathogenesis of RA. (Source: Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases)

Towards development of treat to target (T2T) in childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus: PReS-endorsed overarching principles and points-to-consider from an international task force
Conclusions These international, consensus agreed overarching principles and points-to-consider for T2T in cSLE lay the foundation for future T2T approaches in cSLE, endorsed by the Paediatric Rheumatology European Society. (Source: Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases)
