Chances of getting an appeal for academic dismissal
Hello, I was recently academically dismissed from a psy d program due to getting two C's in one semester. Prior to that I had one additional C and no D or F. The reason behind me getting the two C's in one semester is due to a recent death in my family and I was sick was sick with sinnitus and hives, which according to doctors lead time to have brain fog. Another "Do I Have A Chance", very anxious right now...
I'm really anxious right now. Do you guys think my stats would secure me a chance at Rowan (my state school)? Or schools like NYIT, PCOM and Touro. Those are my top 4. I have sent out secondaries but very anxious right now and has started losing sleep over it. These stress give me headache and hives and make me sick everyday. So I just want a little advice and what to prepare next. I went to state university for undergrad, s/cGPA on AACOMAS is 3.92, on my transcripts was 3.659. Don't know... Recent grad in need of serious advice
Hi everyone! I'm in a sort of complicated career/academic situation and, after months of fruitless internet research, have decided to come to actual, experienced humans for advice. In December 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (minored in Psychology). When I started undergrad, I had unwavering dreams of becoming a physician. Despite multiple cases of stress hives, a much-needed Lexapro prescription, and my first-ever D in Chemistry, I persisted. Eventually, I... can you help me diagnose this 36 year old lady?
I saw a lady for follow-up yesterday the cardiac issue seems straightforward- sudden onset rapid palpitations with a fast rate very much in keeping with an SVT. 12 lead ecg and echo are normal and on an event recorder typically there was one Ve (she hasn't had symptoms recently) Along the way she mentioned itchy facial swelling, throat tingling and some nonspecific abdo pain - She is well otherwise and has no rashes and no urticaria . I wondered about angioedema any other thoughts re a unfiying diagnosis gratedfully received! thank you sadian (Source: Doc2Doc BMJ Cardiology)

What are you allergic to?
Just curious as to what things--meds, foods, animals, plants--you're allergic too (not sensitive/intolerant).<div><br></div><div>My only allergy is Sulfa medications, which kinda stinks since a few drugs used to treat CF related things require Sulfa drugs. Apparently when I was a baby it made me break out in hives...</div><div>But! I decided to have my allergy tested, so right after this round of IV's is up it's off to the allergist! BTW, I love how they want to "test" it. I.e. crush up a sulfa pill and give me tiny bits until I break out. Very sophisticated.</div><div...
