Barbara J. Drew, RN, PhD, FAAN, FAHA will deliver the first of two NINR Director’s Lectures for 2014. Her presentation, “Electrocardiographic Monitoring: Two Decades of Discovery,” will be held on May 20, 2014 from 10:30AM – 11:30AM in Natcher Balcony C on the NIH campus.

Dr. Soltesz’s lab is interested in how brain cells communicate with each other and how the communication changes after fever-induced seizures in early childhood and after head injury. Their general goal is to understand how neuronal networks function and dysfunction, in order to discover new therapies to prevent epilepsy.
