2 1/2 years Post Op Total Abdominal Hysterectomy – Liz ’ s Story
Well ladies what can I say. I used this Forum a lot initially after my Op but was always optimistic I would be OK. How wrong I was. I’m not able to take HRT (history of breast cancer in family, and abnormal cells found earlier this year – so it`s definitely a no-no. I am still experiencing these symptoms: Sweats (regular) – GP giving Acupuncture which I do think has helped. Sleep problems Irritabililty/Low Mood (especially with partner)! No Libido Vaginal dryness Pain in joints (ankles/elbows and fingers – especially in the morning) Weight Gain (2 stones – or 28 lbs) I have had several falls...

Natural Plant Oestrogens – Coumestrol
There are over 300 plants that have oestrogens in them and if they are consumed regularly enough they can have a mild effect on women. The most potent of the plant oestrogens is Coumestrol even though it is about 200 times weaker than human oestrogen.
