The purpose of this meeting is to provide an update on important IT and scientific computing activities at the NEI. Archana Mohale, the new NEI CIO, will report on what is happening in the IT Management Branch (ITMB). We are also excited to describe a new scientific resource: the NEI Scientific Information Office (SIO), established through a contract with BioTeam, Inc (http://www.bioteam.net). National Children's Study Federal Advisory Committee (NCSAC) Meeting - July 2014
The objectives of the July 2014 NCSAC meeting are to provide the Committee with an update on the current status of the Vanguard Study, and discuss the Institute of Medicine review of the National Children’s Study (NCS). The 2013 appropriations bill required that the NIH contract with the Institute of Medicine to review the proposed methodologies for the NCS Main Study.
