Cervical Health Awareness Month
January is Cervical Health Awareness Month, and is a chance to raise awareness about how women can protect themselves from human papillomavirus (HPV) and cervical cancer. HPV, the most common sexually transmitted disease, is a major cause of cervical cancer, but it can be prevented with the HPV vaccine. Regular screening and followup is a good way to prevent cervical cancer. The National Cervical Cancer Coalition, in conjunction with the U.S. Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, offers this toolkit to promote cervical health: http://1.usa.gov/19QIx5r (Source: BHIC)

Sisters Claim Merck's Gardasil Vaccine Caused Ovary Problems
Six years ago, Madelyne and Olivia Meylor were vaccinated with Gardasil. Like millions of parents, their mother agreed to have the teenage sisters vaccinated to ward off the human papillomavirus that can lead to cervical cancer. But within a couple of years, both were diagnosed with premature ovarian failure and were told they will be unable to get pregnant. They now experience signs of menopause. And so, the Meylor family has filed a claim with the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program in what appears to be the first case before the federal program to allege that Gardasil is responsible for this type of injury. As ...

From MedPage Today: One Dose of HPV Vaccine May Be Enough. A single dose of human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) achieved stable antibody levels at 48 months, suggesting that one dose of vaccine might afford adequate protection. Tell, Don’t Ask When It Comes Vaccinating Kids. Pediatricians who told parents their child needed a vaccination rather than asked if they wanted one met less parental resistance. High-Ratio Blood May Cut Fatal Bleeds in Kids. A high ratio of fresh-frozen plasma to packed red blood cells was associated with a significantly lower risk of fatal hemorrhage in massively transfused pediatric trauma...

Study Drop: Can One HPV Shot Be As Good As Three?
The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is a safe and hugely effective cancer-preventer: This we know. But what we also know is that to fully protect yourself from cervical cancer, you have to get all three doses of the vaccine -- and most women don't. In fact, a study last year found that the number of young women who complete all three doses dropped from 50 percent in 2006 to less than 22 percent in 2009! Seven Year-Old Vaccine-Injured Boy Refused Compensation For Not Being Disabled Enough
Conclusion When it comes to compensation, many of the world’s governments shirk their responsibilities and turn a blind eye to suffering families. Families are repeatedly encouraged to apply for compensation even though the governments are fully aware that they will be refused compensation when they do. It is families like the Hadfields who need the money the most. Josh is a child who has clearly been injured after receiving a vaccination recommended by the government and yet his family has been refused compensation because the VDPU has deemed him as not disabled enough. How disabled does a child have to be, for goodness...

Blood Donations are Potential Biohazard from Those Vaccinated with Gardasil
Conclusion It is the responsibility of health authorities to present evidence that blood donation from Gardasil vaccinated is safe for the recipients. If the authorities do not do this they may well have blood on their hands, possibly a tragic pun.     References 1. http://sanevax.org/sane-vax-inc-announces-the-discovery-of-viral-hpv-dna-contaminant-in-gardasil/ 2. http://sanevax.org/sane-vax-inc-discovers-potential-bio-hazard… 3. http://sanevax.org/breaking-news-gardasil-hpv-dna-discovered-in-post-mortem-samples/ 4. http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Blood-donation/Pages/What-is-it-used-for.aspx 5. http://www.gs...

Pharmaceutical Patient Assistance Programs Expand throughout the World
Over the last few months, several pharmaceutical companies have announced new donations and programs regarding vaccines, as well as increasing access to medicines for important diseases. Below is a summary of some of these activities and we will try to update the story as we come across other announcements. GlaxoSmithKline In late July, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) announced that it would increase its commitment to the GAVI Alliance to provide vaccines to developing countries, helping to protect millions more children against infectious diseases. Under this new agreement, GSK will provide an additional 240 million doses ...

These Weird New Tricks Are Being Used to Vaccinate Your Child
Conclusion Let’s face it – vaccinations are big business. Wherever we go or whatever we do, the pharmaceutical industries have arrived there first with their vaccination propaganda. Whether we believe in vaccination or not, the majority of us would likely agree that vaccinations are probably the most advertised commodity on our planet. Year in and year out we are faced with ads for the flu vaccine, the HPV vaccine and the MMR. Ads appear on billboards, in our stores, in magazines and at the movies. The pharmaceutical industries and our governments have even stooped to an all-time low by peddling their wares to ...

HPV vaccine wears off quickly in HIV-positive women
Women with HIV probably need a booster shot of HPV vaccine within 2 years to maintain efficacy, according to a Canadian study of quadrivalent HPV vaccine (Gardasil) in 136 HIV-positive women. Antibody response to the vaccine is strong enough at 2 years to protect about 90% of HIV-negative women against HPV [human papillomavirus]. "But in our population, with approximately a year and a half of (Source: Nelson Vergel's HIV Blog)

A Guide to Cervical Cancer Screening & HPV Vaccines
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the United States. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), “nearly all sexually-active men and women will get at least one type of HPV at some point in their lives.” But the virus usually clears on its own, without causing any damage — and often without showing any symptoms. The HPV vaccine can prevent infection, but it’s not for everyone. We’ll tell you what you need to know about the virus and the vaccine. What are the risks from HPV? In both men and women, HPV infection can lead to warts or ...

HPV Vaccines Can Kill And They Do!
Conclusion Just from the evidence that I have provided, HPV vaccines clearly are not safe, and yet no government to date has ever banned these vaccines. Other products have been banned for far less dangers, so why is a vaccine that has killed 140 women and children and maimed thousands of others been allowed to stay on the market? To offer the HPV vaccine to newborn babies along with the hepatitis B vaccine is pure evil. Many babies are born prematurely and we have to ask ourselves what the impact of these two highly dangerous and toxic vaccines given at the same time will be. We also need to question why newborn babies ne...

Michael Douglas got throat cancer from oral sex. Really?
Guess what. It’s might be true. How can this be? It turns out that about one-third or perhaps more of throat cancers (specifically called oropharyngeal – referring to the back of the mouth and the throat) are associated with an infection called human papilloma virus or HPV. HPV is a common sexually transmitted (by the standard way) infection that affects most women at some time in their lives and is the major, maybe only, cause of cervical cancer. That is why we have developed vaccines for this virus to give to girls before they become sexually active. If every young woman were vaccinated before becoming sexually acti...

HPV Vaccination Rates Are Flat Among Teenage Girls: CDC
Despite repeated urging from health officials that teenage girls should receive an HPV vaccine, new data show vaccination rates in girls between the ages of 13 and 17 did not increase from 2011 to 2012. And administration of the complete three-dose regimen declined slightly year-over-year, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This marks the first year that coverage did not rise. Vaccination coverage with at least one dose reached 25.1 percent in 2007, the first full year after which the Gardasil vaccine was approved by the FDA, and hit 53 percent by 2011. But in 2012, the needle – pun intended ...
