Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study - Research Project Sites (U01)
The objective of the consortium is to establish a national, multisite, longitudinal cohort study to prospectively examine the neurodevelopmental and behavioral effects of substance use from early adolescence (approximately age 9-10) through the period of risk for substance use and substance use disorders.
The structure of the consortium shall consist of three highly integrated components that may be linked at the time of submission: (1) a set of Research Project Sites, (2) a single central Data Analysis and Informatics Center, and (3) a single overall Coordinating Center.
